What is MarketClash?

MarketClash is a paper trading competition app where you can practice trading stocks with virtual money and compete against other traders for real cash prizes. No real money is ever at risk when trading.

Is MarketClash free to use?

Yes! MarketClash is completely free to play. You can compete for prizes without spending any money. We offer an optional Pro subscription ($4.99/month) for players who want extra features like instant account resets.

What are the trading hours?

Trading is available during US stock market hours: Monday through Friday, 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM Eastern Time. You cannot place orders outside of these hours.

How much virtual money do I start with?

Every player starts each week with $100,000 in virtual cash. Your balance resets at the beginning of each weekly competition.

What stocks can I trade?

You can trade any of the 500 stocks in the S&P 500 index, including major companies like Apple, Microsoft, Amazon, Tesla, and more.

What is leverage?

Leverage allows you to control a larger position with less margin. For example, 5x leverage means a $1,000 margin controls a $5,000 position. Higher leverage (up to 5x) increases both potential gains and losses.

What happens if my account gets "blown"?

Your account is blown if you lose 1% or more in a single day, or if your total trailing drawdown (end of day) reaches 4%. You can reset for free by watching 5 ads, or instantly with Pro (up to 10 per day). After resetting, you can continue trading and competing!

How do I win prizes?

Finish in the top 3 on the weekly leaderboard! Rankings are based on percentage return. 1st place wins $100, 2nd place wins $50, and 3rd place wins $30. Prize pools will increase in future competitions.

How do I claim my prize?

If you finish in the top 3, you'll see a "Claim Prize" button on the leaderboard or in your profile. You have 7 days to claim. Unclaimed prizes are forfeited.

How are prizes paid?

Prizes are paid via PayPal, Venmo, or Cash App within 1 business day of claiming. You'll be asked to provide your payment details when claiming.

How do I reset my blown account?

You can reset by watching 5 short video ads (free), or instantly if you have a Pro subscription (up to 10 resets per day).

How do I delete my account?

Go to Profile → Delete Account. This will permanently remove all your data. Any unclaimed prizes will be forfeited.

I forgot my password. What do I do?

On the login screen, tap "Forgot Password" and enter your email. We'll send you a link to reset your password.
